It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the new school year at GREEN Lowcountry!
Thank you to all the families who attended our Join Up meetings! It was wonderful to see each of you, welcome our new students and families, and reconnect with those continuing their journey with us. Your support means so much and truly makes GREEN Lowcountry (GLC) a special place!
At GLC, our mission is to pursue excellence in a caring environment by being, thinking, relating, collaborating, and acting. Our dedicated faculty and staff work closely with students and families to ensure every child receives a high-quality education. We believe in student-centered learning that develops skills to help our students become lifelong learners and leaders. We encourage students to take risks, learn from mistakes, be responsible, and take ownership of their learning.
Strong partnerships between school and home are vital, and we warmly invite parents and guardians to be actively involved in their child’s education and our Parent Task Force (PTF). Your involvement and support are essential to our success, and we deeply appreciate the trust you place in us to guide your child’s educational journey.
As we embark on another exciting school year, I am filled with enthusiasm and joy for what lies ahead. From sparking curiosity to celebrating diversity, our OWLS will soar to new heights, embracing innovative learning opportunities and overcoming challenges.
