Campus & Traffic Flow

Each GREEN campus strives to ensure a smooth and consistent traffic flow and schedule to make daily routines as peaceful and convenient as possible.

A school map and a Traffic Flow Diagram showing how our carline works can be found under each school’s link below. We ask that all drivers on school property obey the rules to keep our children safe and to be respectful of other drivers by practicing safety, vigilance and proper etiquette when merging, dropping off or picking up students.

Arrival Instructions

Arrival time:
7:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.

Where is arrival?
In the back car loop, enter through the first set of white gates off of Old University Blvd.

What will it look like in the back car loop?
Arrival will run in two lines, so you can merge into the shorter of the two lines.

What side of the car will my child be getting out of?
Please have your child ready to get out of the car when you pull up. Please have all students sit on the right side of the car to make it easier for them to get out as it is the side closest to the building.

How do I exit?
You will follow the staff’s directions to merge into one lane to turn left and leave campus.

Dismissal Time:
K-3 dismisses at 3:00 p.m. and 4th-8th dismisses at 3:10 p.m. If you have a child within both age ranges, you will pick them both up at 3:10 p.m.

How does PikMyKid work?
Every child will be given a number associated with their PikMyKid account. When you arrive on campus log into the PikMyKid app and click the announce button to show that you have arrived. Please see the links below to learn more about PikMyKid.

Where should I put my number?
Place the PikMyKid number in your car so it can be seen from the front window. Returning students will have the same number as the previous year.

Where do I go to pick up my child?
There are different lines for the different grade levels. Please see the information and map below for more clarification.

K-3 ONLY:
Once within the white gates on campus you will use the left lane to turn left into the first lane to pick up your child starting at 3:00 p.m. (see the red path on the map).
That lane closes at either 3:10 p.m. or whenever it gets blocked by the older students' lane, so we recommend arriving early to ensure you can pick up your child before we start the line for the 4th-8th grade students.
Once the first lane is closed off you will be required to wait in the lane for 4th-8th grade students to pick up your child. If you have a child in 4th-8th grade as well as K-3rd grade, you must use the older student’s lane to pick up both students starting at 3:10pm.

4th-8th grade (and younger siblings):
Please wait until 3:10 p.m. to arrive to pick up your child so the K-3 line does not get blocked.
Once within the white gates you will stay to the right and follow the right lane around until you reach the large tree, where there will be cones to stop you (see the blue path on the map).
There is only 1 line for the older students, so please do not split paths.
At 3:10 p.m. a staff member will move the cones and you will continue driving (staying in one lane) to pick up your child.

What if I arrive after 3:30pm? Our carline gates will be closed and you will need to come to the front of the school to pick up your student. Students not picked up will be held in the front office by Admin and a phone call will be placed to the parent/guardian on file.
